a long gap...and the eloquence succeeding it!

its really hard to obtain readers in this world unless you really write tons and tons on yourself, but i am still confused by whether i should be happy or sad by the lack of comments.....or their absence! this means that people dont visit my part of the cyberworld easily- privacy, thus is achieved. but people who know me might stumble across my posts and gain unwanted access to my deepest secrets!



but let me keep writing whatever i want till i get the comments going..and people wanting to join my blog..lets make it MY blog..eh?



so?lets start with being as corny as they come, but get effective later.and that...with a glass of cyber-champagne(careful!-i am still not of age!)........calls for an insightful intro.



so guys...and gals(no sexist pig- me!)

i want to introduce you to debanjan basu, also known as 'basu'(with a contemptuous tone- you'll love it, promise!),and self styled dave/john(two names MAKE mine) and keeping in accord with aamir khan's perfectionist potrayal of a jerk....DJ.of course no one calls me these, i couldnt live with myself if they did, but it sort of adds style when you mention it.

i did my high school and intermediate(secondary and senior secondary) from ramakrishna mission vidyapith, deoghar. the school is so famous in bengal that i still get surprised(and hurt.. that goes without saying!) when people say that theyve never heard of it.but worse still when i told people that i got chance in IIT and stood royally to bask in the glory, two persons actually asked me what iit means!

so personal rants aside, what more does my intro need.............yeah.my physique.ever seen stallone...he was almost my type!
hands off, moral police! no one can see me lie!
okay here goes, awkward teenager who actually rather short and plumpy....actually its only a tyre around my abs(they do exist i swear!-you can feel them even over the inches of adipose tissue) and am right there in orkut, search debanjan kolkata and youll find me. i have been a bookworm all my life...story books! but i am gifted with interest in all kinds of sports..although i excel at none. my table tennis and badminton are manageable.....but youll always find me huffing and puffing the evening competing for 'the eyesore of the day' and very few can beat me at that!

another facet of myself would do good to be mentioned.i like creative writing...but cannot persist at it for more than two hours(cumulative, that one!). so rule out a bok or two from me, they never even seed!

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand!i stammer a lot...when i am in the mood, i suck at all kinds of speech,public or private, but when the adrenaline gets going, my tongue does precisely that!

i am going to take up a career in science and will probably shift to teaching if i can.
so that gives every strand i have away, buh-bye then!
